Mahane Yahuda market, Jerusalem

Next day, we were planned to leave for Amman, Jordan, in the afternoon; so decided to check out the Mahane Yahuda Market.

Olives everywhere

Lots of fresh fruit everywhere, and plenty of shoppers

Oranges, Grapefruit etc

Nuts of all kinds

Arabic bread

Chilling

Busy Market

Halwa of many kinds

Dried fruit
Soon, it was time for us to leave. We had researched doing a land crossing into Jordan, but found out that the opening of the border was not guaranteed, and so not wanting to take a chance, we decided to fly there. Nearest airport was Tel Aviv, so we had to get back to Tel Aviv, and the fastest and most efficient way was to take a private taxi; which we did. This is a short drive (did I say places in  Israel are all close by?); and along the way, we saw the dreaded wall

The Infamous Wall separating the Palestinians from the Jews

Got to Tel Aviv airport and boarded the Air Jordan flight to Amman.

Very nice and pleasant stay in Israel.
